TOUR DE MURRIETA 2026

Just Getting Started...

This past weekend I was invited to tag along with Team PWR (an up and coming power house of a women's team) to support at the famous Tour de Murrieta. This race series is a pseudo stage race: day 1 starting with a criterium race and day 2 finishing with a road/circuit race. 

The team did phenomenal, despite enduring the harsh heat advisory and fighting serious headwinds throughout both days. Representing in the women's fields from CAT 3-4, this team brings their own heat to the competition with powerhouses like Ayodele (Dele) Gomih and Carla Northy constantly putting pressure on the field. As a team, they were able to snag 2 podium spots and securing PWR's presence this season.

As the season marches on, it will truly be an experience to witness this team hold their own amongst the best of the best and claim podiums throughout the remaining season!
